FAQ

I’ll try to answer the most commonly asked questions I receive here.
If you don’t find the answers you are looking for, feel free to email me:

WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR RATS FROM?
All of the specimens used for my workshops come from a reptile feeder supply company. Specimens are clean and disease free, with healthy pelts that are completely intact.
I have a great relationship with Canada’s largest reptile rescue and local reptile zoo, and once the pelt is removed, all leftover meat is donated and used to feed some of their animals.
Sometimes I use the skulls and bones for use in my personal work. No part of the animal goes to waste!

WILL YOU TAXIDERMY MY PET FOR ME?
I will not taxidermy your pet into a realistic pose for you, but I do provide other pet memorial services.
For instance, I will remove and clean it’s skull for you.

Email to discuss the details of your request.
If your pet has passed and you are deciding what to do with it, seal it in a bag with as little air as possible and get it in a freezer as soon as you can.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DOING THIS?
Casual Taxidermy workshops have been going on since November of 2014.
